Shukti’s Favorite Halloween Movies

I love this time of year for so many reasons, and one of my favorite reasons is the parade of horror movies — from schlocky B-grade crap with a charm all its own to the truly frightening classics — that a lot of networks start broadcasting. I decided to list some of my faves in alphabetical order. I know strictly speaking that some of these aren’t horror, but they’re creepy in other rights, and anyway horror and art are both subjective. (The armchair pundit that I married says All the President’s Men always gives him the creeps.)

As always, if there’s a remake floating around out there, I’m referring to the original unless I note otherwise.
